Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we do with the data you send us through this site. Last updated: 2026-08-01.
Who handles your data
destinationwedding-mendoza.com is published by Grupo Huentala, which operates in Mendoza, Argentina. Grupo Huentala decides the purposes and the means of the processing described here. For anything related to privacy, write to weddings@grupohuentala.com.ar.
What we collect
We collect personal data in two situations only:
- When you fill in the contact form. Name and email are required; phone or WhatsApp and city and country are optional; the message is written by you. We also record that you ticked the consent box, with the date and time.
- When you browse with statistics accepted. In that case, and only in that case, we collect aggregate usage data through Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, reading time, device type, country and the source of the visit. Details are in the cookie policy.
Alongside the form we receive technical origin data: the page you were on, the campaign parameters in the URL (UTM tags and click identifiers) and the site that brought you here. They tell us how the message arrived. We do not buy lists, we do not use third-party data sets, and this site does not ask for identity documents, dates of birth or financial details.
What we use it for
- To reply to your message and continue the conversation.
- To pass the enquiry, when that is what it is, to the commercial team of Grupo Huentala that handles weddings, so they can answer you directly.
- To correct errors on the site, when a message points one out.
- To understand in aggregate how the guides are read, so we can improve them.
We do not use your data for any other purpose, we do not sell it and we do not pass it to advertisers.
The legal basis
Processing of the form data rests on your consent, given by ticking the box before sending, and on the need to respond to a request you made, under the Argentine Personal Data Protection Act (Ley 25.326), which is the framework that applies to us as an organisation operating in Mendoza, Argentina. Browsing statistics depend exclusively on the consent given in the cookie banner, which you can decline or withdraw at any time.
Visitors from the European Union, the United Kingdom and California
This guide is written in English and read from many countries. We are not established in the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States, and we make no claim to any certification or seal under their regimes. What we can state is how we work in practice, which is aligned with the principles those laws set out:
- We ask for consent before any measurement, and the site works exactly the same if you decline.
- We collect the minimum needed to answer you, and we tell you what it is used for on the same page where you send it.
- We honour requests for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection from any visitor, wherever you live, using the contact address below — including the right to know what we hold and the right to ask us to delete it.
- We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, in the sense the California Consumer Privacy Act gives those terms. There is nothing to opt out of, because it does not happen.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, note that Argentina is recognised by the European Commission as a country providing an adequate level of data protection. If you believe we have handled your data badly, write to us first — and you retain the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Who we share it with
- The commercial team of Grupo Huentala, when your message concerns a wedding or an event and needs an answer from that team.
- Infrastructure providers that host the site and the working tools — Google services (Google Workspace, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics) — which process the data on our behalf and on our instructions.
There is no other sharing. We may provide data to authorities when a legal order obliges us to.
International transfers
Data is handled in Mendoza, Argentina, and stored in cloud services that may keep servers in other countries. Transfers happen on the basis of your consent and of the enquiry you asked us to handle, and are limited to the providers listed above.
How long we keep it
- Messages and contact details: for as long as the enquiry is live and for up to 24 months after the last contact. After that they are deleted or anonymised.
- Data of people who become clients: for the period required by the accounting and tax rules applicable to the contract.
- Browsing statistics: for the retention period configured in Google Analytics, always in aggregate form.
If you ask for deletion before those periods, it is done — except for what the law requires us to keep.
Your rights
At any time, and free of charge, you can:
- Confirm whether we hold data about you, and obtain a copy of it;
- Have incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data corrected;
- Ask for data to be deleted, blocked or anonymised when it is no longer needed or was handled improperly;
- Ask for your data in a portable format;
- Know who we shared your data with, and object to that sharing;
- Withdraw your consent and ask us to delete the data processed on that basis;
- Object to processing you consider irregular.
To exercise any of these, write to weddings@grupohuentala.com.ar stating what you want and the email address you used in the form. We reply in general within one business day and, in any case, within the legal deadlines. We may ask for a simple confirmation of identity first, only so that we do not hand one person's data to someone else.
You may also complain to the Argentine personal data protection authority or, if you are in another jurisdiction, to your local supervisory authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the form submission is encrypted in transit, and access to received messages is restricted to the people who need to answer them. No system is infallible: if a security incident occurs with a meaningful risk to your data, we will notify you and the competent authorities.
Children
This site is not directed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If we identify a submission of that kind, the data is deleted.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the change is material for someone who has already sent us data, we tell them at the contact address they provided.
